PRIVACY POLICY
INTELSIGHT, LDA. is a commercial company under Mozambican law, registered at the Registry of Legal Entities under the number 105049491, with its head office at Rua do Largo Heróis da Fé, n.º 135, Bairro Sommershield (Coop), Maputo City, dedicated to providing advertising services, market research and opinion polling, business and management consultancy, among others.
In carrying out its activities, Intelsight, Lda. is guided by ethics, transparency and trust with its employees, customers, business partners, suppliers and the general public. For this reason, the privacy and protection of Personal Data processed are fundamental and priority commitments.
This Privacy Policy explains how Intelsight, Lda. processes Personal Data, what the rights and guarantees of data subjects are and how they can exercise them.
- What definitions are important for understanding this Privacy Policy?
- "We", "our", "our": Intelsight, Lda. and its managers, employees and service providers.
- "You", "your", "your": clients, respondents, suppliers, business partners, job applicants, professionals and visitors to the Intelsight website, social media pages, app users and other digital platforms, as applicable.
- "Personal Data": is any information of any nature and regardless of its medium, including sound and image, relating to an identified or identifiable natural person who is the data subject (e.g. name, identity card number, e-mail address, telephone number, etc.).
- "Personal data protection officer": a natural person who is part of the staff of the entity, appointed by the controller or a legal or private person, as a channel of communication between the controller, the holders of personal data and the National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data.
- "Operator": a natural or legal person, whether governed by public or private law, who processes personal data on behalf of the controller.
- "Data subject": natural person to whom the personal data being processed refers.
- "Processing" means any operation carried out with personal data, with or without automated means, such as collection, production, reception, classification, use, access, reproduction, transmission, distribution, processing, archiving, storage, deletion, evaluation or control of information, modification, communication, transfer, dissemination or extraction.
- "ANPD": National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data, the body responsible for overseeing and implementing the Personal Data Protection Act in Mozambique, as established and designated by law.
- What Personal Data do we collect and what do we use it for?
We only collect the Personal Data necessary for the development of our activities, observing the principles of transparency, necessity, purpose, free access, lawfulness, security, prevention, non-discrimination, accuracy, responsibility and accountability, conservation and duration, provided for in the applicable legislation. Depending on the context, we may process sensitive personal data (for example, occupational medical reports) to comply with labor or occupational health and safety obligations, observing the specific legal bases applicable in the Republic of Mozambique.

Whenever the need or obligation to retain Personal Data ceases, we will adopt deletion, anonymization or secure blocking procedures, as applicable.

We adopt technical, administrative and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, deletion or improper disclosure. These measures include access controls, monitoring, encryption where applicable and confidentiality and data protection agreements with our potential suppliers and vendors.
As part of our best practices, we hold specialized training sessions for our managers and employees, document the sessions and periodically review the effectiveness of our internal controls.

- In some cases, legal or regulatory restrictions may prevent the immediate or total forwarding of your request (for example, tax obligations, auditing, defense in judicial or arbitration proceedings or preservation of deadlines and formalities for the retention of Personal Data required by law). In such cases, we will explain to the data subject, in writing, the grounds that legitimize the retention of data.
- Intelsight respects the specific requirements for processing the data of minors, under the terms established in the relevant legislation.
- Intelsight is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties with whom you interact outside the company's institutional environments. We recommend that you read the policies of these third parties whenever sharing occurs at the initiative of the owner.
