FACIM PROGRESS REPORT

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This report presents the main results of the survey carried out on the evolution of FACIM, with the aim of understanding the profile of the participants, the frequency of participation, their perception of the evolution of business, their expectations of the event, as well as the improvements identified and suggestions for future editions.
The analysis shows that FACIM remains an event of great national and international relevance, attracting regular exhibitors and visitors over the years. The majority of participants felt that their expectations were met or exceeded, reflecting the importance of the event as a platform for business, networking and visibility. However, the data also reveals important challenges: accessibility, publicizing the event, customer service and
support infrastructure continue to be points of attention.
Furthermore, although we recognize a positive evolution in the sectors and in the diversity of exhibitors,
there is room to strengthen the organization and increase the impact with strategic audiences.
Overall, the results confirm FACIM's role as a showcase for the Mozambican economy and
as a privileged space for promoting business, but they also point to the need for
investment in communication, logistics and the visitor experience, guaranteeing greater competitiveness and international relevance in future editions.

PROFILE OF THE PARTICIPANTS

What is your profile at FACIM?

The survey had around 400 participants, the majority of whom were exhibitors (around half). Visitors accounted for a significant proportion, around 40%, while the "other profiles" category had a small presence, below 10%. This shows that the sample reflects both those who exhibit and those who
visit FACIM in a balanced way.

Exhibitor includes all individuals interviewed who were part of
as an exhibitor during the event.

Visitors correspond to all individuals who attended the event as mere spectators.

Other corresponds to the organization's in-house staff, security guards, investors and other exhibitor and visitor personnel.

good mix of newcomers and veterans: around 35% were attending FACIM for the first time, 42% have been attending for 2-3 years, 12% for 4-5 years and 10% for more than 5 years. When analyzing the perception of evolution over the last five years, only a minority reported no evolution. A considerable proportion reported little evolution, but the majority perceived some or a lot of evolution in the sectors and businesses presented. This
